Soil is Earth's Engine.

Earth Engine takes its name from the "driving force" in growing quality produce - Bio-Rich soil which produces good, healthy and nutrient rich plant life.

Quality soil begins from the biodiversity within your growing mediums.

"Whether it be pursuing the best-looking lawn in your street or you are growing the most delicious fruit & vegetables in your community," it will all depend on the available nutrients within your soil.

Our Process

Step 1 - Carbon & Nitrogen Inputs

Earth Engine works within the cattle and development industries to create a clean finished product - our soil inputs are NOT taken from the local waste tips which is now a common practice within the composting & soil amendments industries - Rather, we utilise carbon materials from mulching companies & combine this material with cattle manures taken from stock yards & cattle processing facilities. This gives us a very clean product, placing the product into long windrows to begin our initial composting process.

Fun fact - There are more microbes in one teaspoon of compost than there are humans on earth!

Step 2 - Thermophilic Process

Once the Mulch and manures are combined and organised into windrows, we hydrate the rows with water and begin to turn the rows with specifically designed equipment, this provides aeration and allows the microbes to go to work. We monitor the rows with strategically placed thermal probes which transfer real time information back to a computer system. Our system advises us when to turn the rows to ensure an excellent finished product. This process can take 3-6 months to complete.

Fun fact - The thermophillic process kills any potential weed seeds, pathegens and disease spores giving you a clean product to use whatever your applications.

Step 3 - The End Result

Our final process once the product has gone through the maturation stage is to screen the product to remove any small lumps or bumps, leaving a beautiful, rich and easily handled end product which our customers love! (heart)

Fun Fact - A matured compost will have an earthy smell with no stink and will not continue to breakdown or heat up after it has been delivered.
